About Hostel

H.K.E. Society's Medical College hostel was started in 1963 to accommodate the girl students seeking admission to MBBS course, coming from different parts of the country and abroad.

A Philanthropist, late Sri. Basawanappa Gangasiri came forward to donate enough funds to start the hostel in memory of his mother Smt. Veeramma Gangasiri and the hostel was inaugurated in 1963.

New wing extension was undertaken by Sri. Basavarajappa Appa, the then President, H.K.E. Society in 1985. 'B' Block was constructed in 1988. 'C' Block was constructed in 2007 and was inaugurated by Sri. Basavaraj S. Bhimalli, President, H.K.E. Society Gulbarga.
